How to order

To place an order, here are the steps you need to follow to allow a hassle free transaction:

1. Once you have found your desired watch, click on the "Add to Cart" button. If you wish to purchase more than one watch, click on the "Continue Shopping" button, otherwise click on "Checkout Now".
2. Once at the checkout, you have the option to deliver to your work address. If this is required, check this box and click next.
3. Now complete the fields with the name and address details exactly as your payment card is invoiced. A daytime telephone number is required in case there is a need to contact you, and this would be done (if necessary) between 10am and 4pm weekdays.
4. Please note: Do NOT enter any full stops in the name fields, as this will produce an error when entering the HSBC ePayment screen.
5. Tick the box once you have read and understood our terms & conditions and click on the "Next" button.
6. If you are requesting an alternative delivery address, you will now be asked for the address. Otherwise you will be taken to a page that confirms your ordered item(s).
7. (If required) on entering your alternative delivery address, click the "Next" button to be forward to the HSBC ePayment screen.
8. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro, Solo or Electron.
9. Click the "Next" button to be sent to the secure HSBC ePayment site and click "Continue" to be asked for your payment details.
10. Once you have enterd your payment card details, you will be asked to confirm all details are correct. If they are, click "proceed", where you will have your completed order details confirmed, along with your order number. Now click on "Continue" to return to the watches1st.co.uk site, where your full order confirmation will be displayed. Print this screen for your records. You will shortly receive an email to confirm this order.
11. PLEASE NOTE: If you would like us to deliver to an alternative address that is not your work address, this is only possible if you are signed up to either the "Verified by Visa" or "MasterCard SecureCode" programmes. However, not all banks are currently enrolled at this time.
12. Here are the details on the "Verified by Visa" or "MasterCard SecureCode" programmes that you need to know if you would like us to deliver to an alternative domestic address.

Please note that at this time, only the following UK banks are signed up to these programmes:

Bank of Scotland, Barclays, Barclaycard, Halifax, HSBC, Lloyds TSB, Mint, NatWest, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Abbey, Capital One, Egg, MBNA, Liverpool Victoria, Nationwide, Alliance & Leicester, Ulster Bank, Bank of Cyprus UK, Cumberland Building Society, SG Private Banking, Brown Shipley Private Banking, Close Brothers Private Banking, First Direct credit & debit cards, permanent tsb and the Norwich & Peterborough Building Society.

13. Once you are enrolled, follow the directions above as if you were to deliver to your work address, and enter "domestic" as the company name.
